Support - Setting Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP Server)
Support Resources
Settings
Most users do not have to worry about settings (as most services are plug and play) but use the following settings if needed:

DNS Servers:
91.142.110.5
91.142.110.20

Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server:
mail.novanetworks.ie

Why must I use Nova's outgoing mail server?
In order to be able to
send emails, you must use the outgoing mail server of whatever ISP you are currently connected to. If you were on the Eircom broadband network, you would use mail1.eircom.net. If you are on Nova Networks broadband network, you must use mail.novanetworks.ie.

How do I check or change this setting in my email program?
Instructions for Outlook 2003 are provided here. Other email programs are similar.

1. In Microsoft Outlook, click on the Tools menu, then Accounts.
2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "View or change existing email accounts" and click Next.
3. Select your email account the click Change.
4. Under
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), enter: mail.novanetworks.ie
5. Click Next then Finish to close the wizard.
